Excellent museum! Very informative even to my friends who have been in Strasbourg for a while. The audio guide was excellent and worked very well with the exhibits. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. This museum is a must go in Strasbourg
I had been invited to the opening a few years back and consider it as the most modern museum and comprehensive to all tourists and locals ! A remarkable achievement of making this a fascinating museum to visit for all !!! Worth while !! Highly recommended !!!

What a fantastic museum! Ive gone to many in the US and Europe, and the experience at this one is hard to beat. It tells the story of Strasbourg through the ages, using an audio guide that plays automatically. It weaves an excellent story of the city and has a good level of interaction for kids and to explore more in-depth on specific subjects. My only complaint is that the audio guide didnt kick in for some areas, which left me without descriptions of some key parts, including Strasbourg during the Occupation.
